On 8th September, 2017, Magnum Research received Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 4 (advising on securities) licenses from Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, becoming the first licensed independent robo-advisor in Hong Kong. Magnum Research currently partners with financial institutions in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Singapore.
